Do you have a file folder that you can’t delete? I had one that was created from Adobe Premier Light Leaks. After I uninstalled it, I simply could not delete the folder structure. When I tried to remove it, it said it couldn’t be found. Here’s how I removed it.
- Open CMD prompt in Administrator Mode.
- Find the path to the folder you want to delete, but can’t.
- Enter this into a command prompt:
rd /s "\\?\C:\Path\To\Folder\That\Will\Not\Go\THISFOLDERWONTDELETEThen hit enter. Once you’ve done that the folder should be gone.
I tried opening in safe mode. I tried applications. I tried CMD -> DEL.. Nothing would work. RD worked and it’s gone forever. I literally had a folder stuck on my PC for years. Hope this helps!
